Resources for teachers
The English for Life skills books were written to help students develop the four skills of listening, reading, speaking and writing. There are books at pre-intermediate level (A2) and at intermediate level (B1).
Developed as self-study books, they also provide ready-to-use classroom resources for teachers. The teaching notes below show how the material can be used in the classroom.
'Classroom implementation' walks you through the sections of each unit, demonstrating how each can work in the classroom. The other links provide extra lesson ideas – supplementary suggestions for classroom activities based on the content and themes of units 1, 2 and 3.
