We publish over 300 dictionary and language learning titles and Collins portfolio is developing all the time. There are new regional initiatives which see us developing content for markets such as India, creating new English language learning products which will help you succeed in business or in your chosen English exam, plus our living database called the Multilingual Database - a symmetrical database of text and audio which currently stands at 36 languages and counting. Data formats
Our data is clean, tagged, consistent and fully documented and should pose no problem for software engineers. Our datasets are mainly held in the following formats – Tagged text and XML (dictionaries) and XML, PDF and Quark (language learning). We would be happy to provide samples for evaluation.
